Franklin Calder Barclay 
Franklin Calder was born on February 14th, 1878 in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.1 Franklin Calder's father was James Barclay and his mother was Elsie Rose Calder. His maternal grandparents were Alexander Calder and Janet Squair. He had four brothers and four sisters, named John Milne, Daniel George Gordon, Alexander Hugh, William Roderick, Jenetta Jane, Jemima Calder, Margaret Ann and Adella. He was the youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 84 on January 1st, 1963 in Columbus, Franklin Co., Ohio.1 General Notes

Death due to pneumonia resulting from artereosclerosis and diabetes melllitus. He died at Riverside Hospital in Columbus, Ohio and was residing at 111 College St., Groveport, Ohio just prior to his death. Frank was retired in 1948 from the United Shoe Machinery Company where he worked as an office manager. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge #240 F & AM in Groveport, the Walnut Chapter #172 of RAM in Canal Winchester, Ohio and the Quarter Century Club of the United Shoe Machinery Company.
Franklin said his cousin was the Duke of Wellington.
