Sarah Babbit 
Sarah was born in 1710 in Taunton, Bristol, MA.1 Sarah's father was Elkanah Babbit (Bobet) and her mother was Elizabeth Briggs. Her paternal grandparents were Edward Babbitt and Sarah Tarne; her maternal grandparents were William Briggs and Sarah Macomber. She had five brothers and five sisters, named Captain Elkanah, Elkannah, Benjamin, Josiah, Joseph, Damaris, Dorcas, Hopestill, Mercy and Elizabeth.
