Rose Violet Mattie was born on April 7th, 1872 in Provo, Utah, UT. Rose Violet Mattie's father was STRADLING and her mother was BUSH. Her paternal grandparents were Obadiah STRADLING and Martha Sheldrick; her maternal grandparents were James Bush and Sophia Humphreys. She had five brothers and four sisters, named John Henry, Joseph Obadiah, James William Albert, Ephriam, Owen Michael, Mary Ann, Selina Martha, Sarah Ann and Susan Elizabeth. She was the fourth youngest of the ten children. She had two half-brothers named Elijah Charles and Thomas. She died at the age of 50 on July 24th, 1922 in St Johns, Apache, AZ.-
