Douglas Andrew was born on August 26th, 1915. Douglas Andrew's father was Andrew Joseph James Riddell and his mother was Eleanor Sybella Boyd. His maternal grandparents were Matthew Boyd and Louisa Porter Douglass. He had two brothers and a sister, named Chauncey Monteith, John E and Thelma Louise. He died at the age of 66 in September 1981 in E.Patchogue Long Island, New York.-
