Nancy was born in 1842.1 Nancy's father was Alexander S Orr and her mother was Eliza Jane Wallace. Her paternal grandparents were Robert Orr and Sarah Messersmith. She had two brothers named George and John. She had seven half-brothers and five half-sisters, named Will, Wiley Edgar, Joseph W, Millard Filmore, Jacob B, Isaac S, Winfield Scot, Katie M, Jeanette, Emma, Mary Elice and Sara Elizabeth.-
