Maudie was born on September 27th, 1907 in Lyon Co., KY.1 Maudie's father was George Washington Jr Orr and her mother was Denina Helen Fulks. Her paternal grandparents were George Washington Sr. Orr and Elizabeth Bridges Stout; her maternal grandparents were Henry Jackson Fulks and Nancy Emeline Mitchell. She had three brothers and four sisters, named Melvin, Dewey, James, Ethel, Eva Fulks, Edith and Ida. She had three half-brothers and a half-sister, named Barney, Charles Jackson, William Harrison and Gertrude. She died at the age of 59 on March 25th, 1967 in Caldwell Co., KY. She was buried in 1967 in Sardis Cemetery, Lyons Co., KY.2 3 General Notes
