Florida was born in 1852 in Nicholas Co., KY. Florida's father was Oscar F Orr and her mother was Elizabeth T Evans. Her paternal grandparents were John Orr and Nancy Steerman Orr. She had four brothers and five sisters, named Robert A, Warren, Bevil Granvill, O T, Virginia, George, Anna Lee, Isadora and Ettie. She was the second oldest of the ten children.-
