Ettie was born on August 30th, 1869 in Nicholas Co., KY.1 Ettie's father was Oscar F Orr and her mother was Elizabeth T Evans. Her paternal grandparents were John Orr and Nancy Steerman Orr. She had four brothers and five sisters, named Robert A, Warren, Bevil Granvill, O T, Virginia, Florida, George, Anna Lee and Isadora. She was the second youngest of the ten children. She died at the age of 26 on May 8th, 1896 in Cooper Co., MO. She was buried on May 8th, 1896 in Pilot Grove Cemetery, Cooper Co., MO.2 1 General Notes
