B F was born in 1875 in Virginia.1 B F's father was James Wesley Orr and his mother was Martha Vermillion. His paternal grandparents were David Orr and Rhoda Ely. He had three brothers and two sisters, named William Emmet, George W, Henry, Daughter and Elizabeth V. He was the third youngest of the six children.
