Rachel Nickell 
Rachel was born in 1810 in Rockingham Co., NC.1 Rachel's father was Jeremiah "Jerry" Nickell and her mother was Polly. Her paternal grandparents were Joseph Nickell and Elsa Fowler. She had six brothers and a sister, named James, Thomas Madison, Michael, Wilburn, Jeremiah, Ira May and Amey. She died before 1850.
