Michael N. was born in 1849 in Eddyville, Caldwell Co., KY.1 Michael N.'s father was Wilburn Nickels and his mother was Julia Ann Orr. His paternal grandparents were Jeremiah "Jerry" Nickell and Polly; his maternal grandparents were James Jr ORR and Gincy Jane Young. He had a brother and a sister, named Alfred Wilson and Emaline. He was the youngest of the three children. He died after August 1st, 1860 in Eddyville, Caldwell Co., KY.2 General Notes
