Alfred Wilson was born on February 3rd, 1846 in Eddyville, Caldwell Co., KY.1 Alfred Wilson's father was Wilburn Nickels and his mother was Julia Ann Orr. His paternal grandparents were Jeremiah "Jerry" Nickell and Polly; his maternal grandparents were James Jr ORR and Gincy Jane Young. He had a brother and a sister, named Michael N. and Emaline. He was the oldest of the three children. He died at the age of 28 on September 1st, 1874 in Ironton, Trigg Co., KY.1 General Notes
