Jane Cortie "Ginsey" was born on December 5th, 1833 in Lyon Co., KY.1 Jane Cortie "Ginsey"'s father was James Nickell and her mother was Elizabeth Holloway. Her paternal grandparents were Jeremiah "Jerry" Nickell and Polly. She had seven brothers and two sisters, named Albert, James Haggard, John Amberson, Thomas Jefferson, Madison Criswell, William Justice, Lynn Boyd, Mary Telitha and Nancy Elizabeth. She was the fourth oldest of the ten children. She died at the age of 79 on June 26th, 1913 in Lyon, KY, USA. She was buried in 1913 in Nickell Cemetery------------Lyon County, KY.2 1 General Notes
