James Haggard Nickell 
James Haggard was born on August 1st, 1829 in Lyon Co., KY.1 James Haggard's father was James Nickell and his mother was Elizabeth Holloway. His paternal grandparents were Jeremiah "Jerry" Nickell and Polly. He had six brothers and three sisters, named Albert, John Amberson, Thomas Jefferson, Madison Criswell, William Justice, Lynn Boyd, Jane Cortie "Ginsey", Mary Telitha and Nancy Elizabeth. He was the second oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 35 on November 20th, 1864 in Salem,Marion Co.,IL.1 -
