Harris Mauldin 
Harris was born in 1824 in Itawamba, Mississippi, USA.1 Harris' father was Absalum Mauldin and his mother was Cynthia Caroline Seale. His paternal grandparents were John Mauldin and Sarah Blake. He had three brothers and five sisters, named J W, William Melton, Clayton, Sarah, Jane, Martha, Mary and Mary Jackson. He was the third oldest of the nine children.
