Bessie Garrand 
Bessie was born about 1850. Bessie's father was William Mountjoy Garrand and her mother was Matilda Ann Coburn. Her paternal grandparents were William Garrand and Susan Elizabeth Peers; her maternal grandfather was Wilson Coburn. She had two brothers and four sisters, named Wilson Coburn, William Mountjoy, Nannie, Susan Peers, Betty and Matilda. She was the third oldest of the seven children.-
