Edward Ned was born on August 17th, 1773 in Nash Co., NC.1 Edward Ned's father was David D Cooper and his mother was Elizabeth Wilder. His paternal grandparents were Marcom Cooper and Sarah Cooper. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Marcome, William, John Cotten, Sion, Malachia, Rehab, Charity, Oprah and Elizabeth. He was the youngest of the ten children. He had a half-sister named Sarah Juliet.-
