Ross Monteith Boyd 
Ross Monteith was born on August 1st, 1886 in Randboro, PQ, Canada.1 Ross Monteith's father was Matthew Boyd and his mother was Louisa Porter Douglass. His paternal grandparents were Joseph Boyd and Jane Hammond; his maternal grandparents were Robert Douglass and Martha Monteith. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Allan Francais, George, Stewart, Matthew Wallace, Annie, Betrice, Eleanor Sybella and G. Eleanor. He was the third youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 21 on May 5th, 1908.1 -
