John Amos 
John was born in 1775 in NC.1 John's father was Daniel Amos and his mother was Oprah Cooper. His maternal grandparents were David D Cooper and Elizabeth Wilder. He had five brothers and three sisters, named William, James, Charles, David, Daniel, Elizabeth, Sarah and Mary. He was the oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 58 on April 1st, 1833.1 -
