James Amos 
James was born in 1782 in Wake, NC.1 James' father was Daniel Amos and his mother was Oprah Cooper. His maternal grandparents were David D Cooper and Elizabeth Wilder. He had five brothers and three sisters, named John, William, Charles, David, Daniel, Elizabeth, Sarah and Mary. He was the fourth oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 66 in 1848 in Knox, TN.1 -
