Christian von Hessen-Philippsthal-Barchfeld

Christian was born in 1887. Christian's father was Wilhelm von Hessen-Philippsthal-Barchfeld and his mother was Auguste von Schleswig-Holstein-Gluecksburg. His paternal grandparents were Karl von Hessen-Philippsthal-Barchfeld and Sofie von Bentheim-Steinfort. He had five half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Friedrich Wilhelm, Carl, Chlodwig, Eduard, Julian, Elisabeth, Alice, Luise and Berta Luise. He died at the age of 84 in 1971.
