Phillip von Hessen-Kassel

Phillip was born in 1601.  Phillip's father was Moritz von Hessen-Kassel and his mother was Juliane von Nassau-Siegen.  His paternal grandparents were Wilhelm lV von Hessen-Kassel and Sabine von Wuertemberg. He had six brothers and seven sisters, named Hermann, Moritz, Friedrich, Christian, Ernst, Philipp, Agnes, Juliane, Sabine, Magdalene, Sofie, Christine and Elisabeth.  He was the oldest of the fourteen children. He had three half-brothers and a half-sister, named Otto, Moritz, Wilhelm V Landgraf and Elisabeth.  He died at the age of 25 in 1626.
