Ludwig ll von Hessen-Kassel

Ludwig ll was born in 1438.  Ludwig ll's father was Ludwig l von Hessen and his mother was Anna von Sachsen.  His paternal grandparents were Hermann ll von Hessen and Margarete von Nuernberg. He had three brothers and a sister, named Heinrich lll, Hermann Erzbischof, Friedrich and Elisabeth.  He was the oldest of the five children.  He died at the age of 33 in 1471.
