Christian von Hessen-Kassel

Christian was born in 1622.  Christian's father was Moritz von Hessen-Kassel and his mother was Juliane von Nassau-Siegen.  His paternal grandparents were Wilhelm lV von Hessen-Kassel and Sabine von Wuertemberg. He had six brothers and seven sisters, named Phillip, Hermann, Moritz, Friedrich, Ernst, Philipp, Agnes, Juliane, Sabine, Magdalene, Sofie, Christine and Elisabeth.  He was the fifth youngest of the fourteen children. He had three half-brothers and a half-sister, named Otto, Moritz, Wilhelm V Landgraf and Elisabeth.  He died at the age of 18 in 1640.
