Leopold von Hessen-Homburg 
Leopold was born in 1787. Leopold's father was Friedrich V von Hessen-Homburg and his mother was Karoline von Hessen-Darmstadt. His paternal grandparents were Friedrich lV von Hessen-Homburg and Ulrike zu Solms-Braunfels; his maternal grandparents were Ludwig lX von Hessen-Darmstadt and Karoline Palatine von Zweibruecken-Birkenfeld. He had seven brothers and five sisters, named Friedrich VI Landgraf, Ludwig, Paul, Viktor, Philipp, Gustav, Ferdinand, Karoline, Luise Ulrike, Amalie, Auguste and Marie Anna. He was the youngest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 26 in 1813.-
