Auguste von Hessen-Homburg 
Auguste was born in 1776. Auguste's father was Friedrich V von Hessen-Homburg and her mother was Karoline von Hessen-Darmstadt. Her paternal grandparents were Friedrich lV von Hessen-Homburg and Ulrike zu Solms-Braunfels; her maternal grandparents were Ludwig lX von Hessen-Darmstadt and Karoline Palatine von Zweibruecken-Birkenfeld. She had eight brothers and four sisters, named Friedrich VI Landgraf, Ludwig, Paul, Viktor, Philipp, Gustav, Ferdinand, Leopold, Karoline, Luise Ulrike, Amalie and Marie Anna. She was the seventh oldest of the thirteen children. She died at the age of 95 in 1871.-
