Franz Joseph von Battenberg 
Franz Joseph was born in 1861. Franz Joseph's father was Alexander von Hessen and the Rhine and his mother was Julia von Battenberg von Hauke. His paternal grandparents were Ludwig II von Hessen und dem Rhein and Wilhelmina von Baden; his maternal grandparents were John Maurice von Hauke and Sophie la Fontaine. He had three brothers and a sister, named Louis Prinz, Alexander, Henry Maurice and Marie. He was the youngest of the five children. He died at the age of 63 in 1924.
