Charles William Richter 
Charles William was born on August 4th, 1838 in Madison, Morgan County, Georgia, USA.1 Charles William's father was Charles Wilhelm Richter and his mother was Anne Eliza Potter. His paternal grandparents were Carl Wilhelm Richter and Anna Mariah Hollweck; his maternal grandparents were Arthur Potter and Margaret White. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Arthur Potter, Martin Luther, John Clarke, Anna Mariah, Fannie, Sara Caroline and Anna Thomas. He was the second oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 69 on September 2nd, 1907 in Ensley, Alabama, USA.1 -
