Arthur Potter was born on August 23rd, 1844 in Madison, Morgan County, Georgia, USA.1 Arthur Potter's father was Charles Wilhelm Richter and his mother was Anne Eliza Potter. His paternal grandparents were Carl Wilhelm Richter and Anna Mariah Hollweck; his maternal grandparents were Arthur Potter and Margaret White. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Charles William, Martin Luther, John Clarke, Anna Mariah, Fannie, Sara Caroline and Anna Thomas. He was the fourth youngest of the eight children.1 -
