Dorothea Reuter 
Dorothea was born on December 30th, 1823 in Schwelm, Westfalen, Prussia.1 Dorothea's father was Heinrich Reuter and her mother was Maria Catherina Kuntz. She had three brothers and five sisters, named August, Carl Heinrich, Heinrich, Carolina, Henrietta, Albertine, Maria Wilhelmine and Auguste. She was the fourth oldest of the nine children.1
