Louisa Potter 
Louisa was born on October 7th, 1822 in Santa Cruz Island (St. Croix), West Indies.1 Louisa's father was Arthur Potter and her mother was Margaret White. Her maternal grandparents were White and Hartshorn. She had four brothers and six sisters, named Barnet Whatlington, Arthur, Charles Wilhelm, Frederick Carl Christian Monroe, Anne Eliza, Margaret, Mary Elizabeth "Tito", Sara Whatlington "Sal", Alice Jane Tatum and Mary Etholinda "Ethie". She was the fifth youngest of the eleven children.1 -
