Robert A. was born on June 11th, 1849.1 Robert A.'s father was Robert Jackson Plant and his mother was Rebecca A. Baker. His maternal grandparents were Abner Baker and Sarah. He had eight brothers and a sister, named John Jefferson, George, William S., Allen K., Thomas J., Casper Howell, Charles S., Claude and Loula Sally. He was the oldest of the ten children.1 -
