John Jefferson Plant 
John Jefferson was born in 1851 in Tallapoosa County, Alabama.1 John Jefferson's father was Robert Jackson Plant and his mother was Rebecca A. Baker. His maternal grandparents were Abner Baker and Sarah. He had eight brothers and a sister, named Robert A., George, William S., Allen K., Thomas J., Casper Howell, Charles S., Claude and Loula Sally. He was the second oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 86 in 1937.1 -
