Jessie Eliza was born on July 4th, 1871.1 Jessie Eliza's father was Henry Pruitt Fortson and his/her mother was Sarah Eugenia Glenn. His/her paternal grandparents were Thomas Daniel Fortson and Elizabeth Ann "Eliza" Pruitt; his/her maternal grandparents were William West Glenn and Nancy Boyd. He/she had two brothers and a sister, named Thomas Glenn, William Boyd and Georgia Eugenia. He/she was the second oldest of the four children.1 -
