Mary Ann Allen 
Mary Ann was born on March 30th, 1850 in England.1 Mary Ann's father was Samuel James Allen and her mother was Margaret Jane Patch. Her paternal grandparents were James Allen and Mary Graham. She had four brothers and seven sisters, named James Henry, Edward James, Samuel James, John James, Margaret Jane, Elizabeth Eliza, Ellen, Isabell, Adaline Bell, Annabell and Nellie Pearle. She was the oldest of the twelve children.1 -
