Edward James Allen 
Edward James was born on January 25th, 1858 in Illinois.1 Edward James' father was Samuel James Allen and his mother was Margaret Jane Patch. His paternal grandparents were James Allen and Mary Graham. He had three brothers and eight sisters, named James Henry, Samuel James, John James, Mary Ann, Margaret Jane, Elizabeth Eliza, Ellen, Isabell, Adaline Bell, Annabell and Nellie Pearle. He was the sixth youngest of the twelve children.1 -
