Margaret Jane Allen 
Margaret Jane was born on January 29th, 1852 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.1 Margaret Jane's father was Samuel James Allen and her mother was Margaret Jane Patch. Her paternal grandparents were James Allen and Mary Graham. She had four brothers and seven sisters, named James Henry, Edward James, Samuel James, John James, Mary Ann, Elizabeth Eliza, Ellen, Isabell, Adaline Bell, Annabell and Nellie Pearle. She was the second oldest of the twelve children.1 -
