Ann was born about 1409 in Raby, Cheshire, England. Ann's father was Ralph De Neville and her mother was Joan De Beaufort. Her paternal grandparents were John De Neville and Maud De Percy; her maternal grandparents were John Plantagenet and Catherine Swynford De Roet. She had three brothers and a sister, named Richard, William, Edward and Catherine. She is the second youngest of the five children. She had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named Ralph II de, Philippa and Elizabeth.-
