William York 
William was born in 1790 in NC. William's father was Shubal York and his mother was Unknown. His paternal grandparents were Semore York and Sylvania L Aldredge. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Barnaby, Jones, Shubel Jr., Patsy, Betsy and Mary. He was the second oldest of the seven children. He had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named Isaac, Esther and Nancy.-
