Tabitha was born on July 10th, 1773 in Randolph County, North Carolina. Tabitha's father was Semore York and her mother was Sylvania L Aldredge. Her paternal grandparents were Jeremiah York and Sarah Seymour; her maternal grandparents were William Ezekial Aldridge and Elizabeth Symons. She had eight brothers and three sisters, named Jeremiah, John, William Alfred, Jabez, Shubal, Jesse, Isaac H., Semore, Sarah Rachel, Nancy Dorcas and Martha. She died at the age of 87 on April 21st, 1861 in Millboro, Randolph County, NC. She was buried in Trodgen Cemetary, Randolph Co, NC.-
