John York 
John was born about 1803. John's father was Jabez York and his mother was Elizabeth White. His paternal grandparents were Semore York and Sylvania L Aldredge; his maternal grandparents were John White and Ann Welborn. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Bohan W., Shubal, Marion, Chessie, Martha, Elizabeth, Jane and Maryann. He was the second oldest of the nine children.-
