Dread Thomas Aldridge 
Dread Thomas was born on January 29th, 1870 in Louisiana. Dread Thomas' father was Washington Hamilton Aldridge and his mother was Julia Ann Hendrix. His paternal grandparents were Abner Aldridge and Rebecca House; his maternal grandfather was Reuben Hendrix. He had five brothers and five sisters, named William James, Charles Washington, Augustus Murat, Aberdeen, Pinckney Beauregard, Anne Rebecca, California Adeline, Frances Harriet, Louisiana Bell and Susan Alice. He was the youngest of the eleven children.-
