Matha Ellen's father was Bartholomew Wood White and her mother was Elizabeth Easton. Her maternal grandparents were Richard+ Easton and Elizabeth+ Heaton. She has three brothers and eight sisters, named William Richard, James Napolean, Lewis Byron, Hannah E., Delilah E., Mary C., Sarah Malinda, M.
