John Troxell

John was born on May 17th, 1814 in N. Whitehall Twp., Leigh Co., PA. John's father was Christian Troxell and his mother is Barbara Horn. His paternal grandparents were Adam Troxell and Anna Marie Hecker; his maternal grandparents were John Horn and Magdalena Troxell. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named Christian, Samuel, Wilhelm, Reuben, Nathan, Jonas, Moses, Juliana, Margaretha and Catherine. He is the sixth oldest of the eleven children.
