Jutta Von+ was born about 1184. Jutta Von+'s father was Hermann I Von+ Thuringen and her mother was Sophie Von+ Sommerschenburg. Her paternal grandparents were Ludwig II Von+ Thuringen and Judith Von+ Hohenstaufen; her maternal grandparents were Friedrich II Von+ Sommerschenburg and Liutgard Von+ Stade. She had a sister named Hedwige Von+. She was the older of the two children. She had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Ludwig IV+, Henrich Raspe Von, Irmgard Von+ and Agnes Von+.
