Ludwig II Von+ was born about 1128. Ludwig II Von+'s father was Ludwig I Von+ Thuringen and his mother was Hedwig Von+ Gudensberg. His paternal grandparents were Ludwig Von+ Thuringen and Adelheid Von+ Stade. He had two sisters named Judith Von+ and Cecilia Von. He was the second oldest of the three children.
