Elizabeth was born on January 3rd, 1674 in Gloucester Co., VA. Elizabeth's father was Francis Thornton and her mother was Alice Savage. Her paternal grandfather was William Thornton and her paternal grandmother is Elizabeth Rowland; her maternal grandparents were Anthony Savage and Alice Stafford. She had a sister named Margaret. She was the older of the two children. She died at the age of 58 in 1732.General Notes
