Thomas C. was born after 1798.  Thomas C.'s father was Doughty Stockton and his mother is Elizabeth Perkins. He has a brother and four sisters, named William F., Mary Ann, Ann, Nancy Doughty and Sarah Bell.  He is the second oldest of the six children.
