Augusta Emily was born on November 6th, 1835 in Alcester, Warwickshire, England. Augusta Emily's father was George Hamilton Seymour and her mother was Gertrude Maud Brand. Her paternal grandfather was George Seymour and her paternal grandmother is Isabella Hamilton; her maternal grandparents are Henry Otway Brand and Pyne Crosbie. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Arthur Henry, Leopold Richard, Alfred, George Evelyn, Gertrude Frances and Isabella. She was the oldest of the seven children. She died at the age of 75 on February 25th, 1911 in Highcroft, Boscombe, Hampshire, England.General Notes
