Walter Scott 
Walter was born about 1570 in Buccleuch, Crosslee, Teviotdale, Scotland. Walter's father was Walter Scott and his mother was Margaret Douglas. His paternal grandparents were William Scott and Grisel Beaton; his maternal grandfather was David Douglas and his maternal grandmother is Margaret Hamilton. He had a sister named Mary. He was the older of the two children. He died on December 15th, 1611 in Branxholme, Roxburghshire, Scotland.General Notes
